Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pewter Software Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use InfiniReminder ("the App").
We built InfiniReminder around a simple principle: your reminders are yours. The content of what you're reminding yourself about never leaves your device.
1. Summary
- Your reminder content stays on your device, encrypted at rest. We do not collect, see, or store the titles, notes, schedules, or any other content of the reminders you create.
- We collect a small amount of account information (via Google or Apple Sign-In) solely to manage your subscription and entitlement.
- We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, and Apple/Google to process payment.
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs of any kind.
- We do not sell your data.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
If you choose to sign in (currently via Google Sign-In; Apple Sign-In is planned), we receive and store, via our authentication provider Supabase:
- Your name and email address as provided by Google/Apple
- A unique account identifier
- Sign-in timestamps and authentication metadata
Signing in is not required to use the App's core reminder functionality. It is only required to purchase, restore, or manage a Premium subscription across devices.
2.2 Subscription & Purchase Information
When you make or restore a purchase, our in-app purchase provider, RevenueCat, and the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) process:
- Your purchase/subscription status, plan, and renewal dates
- A RevenueCat-generated user identifier, linked to your account identifier so we can grant entitlement
- Transaction identifiers provided by the app store
We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment credentials — these are handled entirely by Apple/Google.
2.3 Reminder & Task Content
Reminders, tasks, notes, and schedules you create are stored locally on your device only, encrypted at rest. This content:
- Is never transmitted to our servers
- Is not backed up to any cloud service we operate
- Is not accessible to us, and we have no way to view, recover, or restore it
If you lose, reset, or uninstall the App from your device, this content may be permanently lost. See Section 8.2 of our Terms of Service.
2.4 Device & Permissions Data
To schedule and deliver reminders and alarms reliably, the App requests the following device permissions:
- Notifications — to display reminder and alarm notifications
- Exact alarms / schedule exact alarm — to fire reminders at the precise time you set
- Ignore battery optimizations (optional) — to reduce the risk of missed reminders due to OS power-saving
- Boot completed — to reschedule your alarms after your device restarts
- Full-screen intent, vibrate, wake lock — to display and sound alarm-style notifications, including when your device is locked
None of the above involve sending data to us or any third party — they control on-device OS behavior only. The App does not request camera, location, contacts, or microphone access.
2.5 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or browsing history, and the App contains no ads or ad tracking.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session
- Grant, verify, and restore your Premium subscription entitlement
- Communicate with you about your account or subscription (e.g. trial ending, renewal, payment issues) if you've signed in
- Provide customer support when you contact us
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
InfiniReminder integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Data Involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Sign-In | Authentication | Name, email, Google account ID |
| Apple Sign-In (where enabled) | Authentication | Name, email (or private relay), Apple account ID |
| Supabase | Authentication backend, entitlement storage | Account identifier, email, sign-in metadata |
| RevenueCat | Subscription & purchase management | Purchase/subscription status, app-store transaction IDs |
| Apple App Store / Google Play Store | Payment processing | Billing handled entirely by Apple/Google — we never receive your payment details |
We do not control these third parties' own data practices. We encourage you to review:
5. Data Storage & Security
- Reminder content is encrypted at rest on your device using industry-standard encryption
- Account information is stored by Supabase using industry-standard security measures
- We use secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for any data transmitted to Supabase or RevenueCat
- No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- We retain your account information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App and comply with legal obligations
- Reminder content stored locally on your device is retained until you delete it, disable/uninstall the App, or reset your device — we have no copy and cannot delete it on your behalf
- To request deletion of your account and associated data (name, email, account identifier, subscription/entitlement records held by us or on our behalf by Supabase/RevenueCat), submit a request at pewtersoftware.co.uk/support or email us at pewtersoftware@gmail.com. We will process your request within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain limited data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms of Service
- We do not currently offer an in-app account deletion option; this Policy will be updated if that changes
7. Your Rights
7.1 General
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection law (e.g. UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or other regional laws), including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (see Section 6)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at pewtersoftware@gmail.com or pewtersoftware.co.uk/support.
7.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We provide the following disclosures to California residents. We extend the same rights described below to all users of the App, regardless of whether we meet the California Consumer Privacy Act's applicability thresholds.
Categories of personal information collected (past 12 months). Using the categories defined by the CCPA, we collect:
- Identifiers — name, email address, account identifier, RevenueCat user identifier, app-store transaction identifiers
- Internet or other electronic network activity — sign-in timestamps and authentication metadata
We do not collect any other CCPA category (e.g. biometric information, geolocation, commercial history beyond subscription status, or inferences). We do not collect this information from data brokers; it comes directly from you (via Google/Apple Sign-In) or is generated by our service providers (Supabase, RevenueCat, the app stores) in the course of providing the App.
Sources. Directly from you, and from our service providers (Google, Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play Store) as described in Section 4.
Purpose. As described in Section 3 — authentication, entitlement/subscription management, customer support, and legal compliance.
Sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We have no advertising SDKs and no data brokers in our supply chain (see Section 2.5).
Sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA (e.g. government ID, precise geolocation, health data), so there is nothing to limit the use of.
Your CCPA/CPRA rights. California residents have the right to:
- Know/Access — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and the categories/purposes involved
- Delete — your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions (see Section 6)
- Correct — inaccurate personal information we hold about you
- Opt-out of sale/sharing — not applicable, as we do not sell or share personal information
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality for exercising any of these rights
How to exercise these rights. Submit a request via pewtersoftware.co.uk/support or email pewtersoftware@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity (e.g. by confirming details tied to your account) before completing a request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and independent verification of your identity. We will respond within 45 days, with a possible one-time 45-day extension where reasonably necessary, and we will not charge a fee for a reasonable number of requests.
8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (Supabase, RevenueCat) may process and store data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
9. Children's Privacy
InfiniReminder is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at pewtersoftware@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-App and/or by email (if you've signed in) and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
